#FBF Learning is Child’s Play Race

We’re flashing back to our annual fall fundraising event, the Learning is Child’s Play 10k/5k/1mi Race. This year it was held at a beautiful location: Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. The children were able to walk, or attempt to race, their one mile while the diehards ran a 10k or 5k.

#FBF Pancake Breakfast

With this year’s annual Pancake Breakfast approaching on Sunday, September 25th, we thought we would share the fun of last year’s event with everyone! This is a favorite morning for our children as many get to see their teacher for the first time outside of the classroom. In the past we’ve teamed up with a local Applebee’s who’s kitchen and dining room opens for us to have a pancake and egg breakfast for just our school.

#FBF Summer Camps

#FBF Summer Camps

Our Camp Co-op is the camp experience most of our students start out attending. This year our June session included outside play in our backyard, water play, circle time, music, art, and our ever-popular snack bar. The children have a chance to participate, play and learn with a multi-age group and other students and teachers they may not get to see on a regular basis. It is a fun and messy week!

#FBF Tea for Two

In May we celebrated the special caregivers in our lives by hosting an annual tradition, Tea for Two. Since we do not get a chance to honor the fathers of the Co-op because the holiday does not fall into our school year and we wanted to be inclusive to the family dynamics of all of the children here at the Co-op, we gave our families the opportunity to include Dad, Mom, or even Grandmother in the event starting this year.
