2016 Summer Camps

Camp Co-op
June 21-23

Each session will include outside play in our backyard, water play, circle time, music, art, and our ever-popular snack bar. This is an opportunity for the children to participate, play and learn with a multi-age group. Each week will offer different engaging activities led by the staff. It will be a fun and messy week – please dress appropriately!

Co-op Summer Camp is for families currently enrolled in Kids’ Cooperative (2’s, 3’s, 4’s, or Kindergarten). If there are spaces in the summer camp that are not filled by in-house families by May 6, registration will open to alumni families.

Camps are Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm. A snack will be provided and children will bring a lunch.

Sibling Camp
July 11-15

Open to alumni and current students aged 3 years through 5th grade. Siblings will have opportunities to play and learn together, and engage in cooperative activities that will encourage family bonding. Children must be fully potty trained in order to attend. At least one of the children should be currently enrolled at the Co-op.

Sibling Camp will be Monday-Friday, 9:00am-1:00pm. A snack will be provided and children will bring a lunch. A Family Potluck will be held Friday, July 15 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Alumni Art Camp
June 27-July 1

We are pleased to offer a special summer Art Camp for Kids’ Cooperative alumni students who have completed Grades 1-5. Geared with the older student in mind, the Alumni Art Camp allows for introduction and development of fine art techniques, all while letting your child explore their creative side in an uninhibited environment. The week culminates in a potluck dinner where
alumni families have a chance to reconnect, view their children’s gallery of art and bid on the group art piece in an exciting live auction!

Class size is limited and registration is done on a seniority basis until May 6. After that, it is first come, first served.

Camp is Monday-Friday, 9:00am-12:30pm. Families will bring snack and there is no lunch. A Family Potluck will be held Friday, July 1 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Notes on all summer camps:

  • No prorating, no refunds, no sibling discounts. You must be a member in good standing (i.e. all financial and member obligations fulfilled) in order to register.
  • Bring extra clothes and have your child sunscreened before arrival.
  • Parent participation is not required for any summer camp session.
